Join us in Glasshouse at Alderley Park for an interactive and inspiring day of science and technology fun. With shows from the Royal Institution, entertainment from David Crofts 'The Balloon Artist'; and activities including sphero coding and crumble coding, the day is guaranteed to pique your curiosity.

Fun for the whole family, come along and explore the exciting world of STEM with interactive learning, entertainment and pop-up food and drink.

Tickets cost £5 per person and all activities are included. Children under 3 are free.

The Science of Balloons

A Mixture of Science and Balloon Modelling. From aerodynamics to acoustics, energy to elasticity, static electricity to molecular arrangement. Science concepts introduced and explored through the fun art of balloon modelling.

Skills Supply Experiments and coding

Conduct experiments and make measurements to discover the Science of Us. Learning how our bodies work by using Lab Equipment and making Remarkable Reactions – learning about the science behind our discoveries is key. 

Face Painting

Transform into your favourite animal, there’s face painting for all!

Live Music | DJ

Boogie the day away while you complete your experiments or have a relax between activities with our live DJ.

Alderley Park is centrally located within easy reach of the M6 and M56 motorway network. It is located just 18 miles away from Manchester city centre and 20 minutes from Manchester Airport which offers flights to 225 destinations around the world. The Park offers easy access to Manchester and the rest of the UK by train with three local stations (Alderley Edge, Wilmslow and Macclesfield) all within 15 minutes drive.
