Cinema Under the Stars returns to Alderley Park with 'Back to the Future'

Bruntwood SciTech’s Alderley Park, where world leading science, innovation and stylish living come together, has today announced the return of Cinema Under the Stars (3 September 2022) with a special one-off screening of Back to The Future.

The screening, in partnership with Alfresco Film Company, will give people the chance to enjoy a night of nostalgia with a timeless movie classic in a unique setting under the stars. Held in the beautiful grounds of Alderley Park, the event is the perfect chance to enjoy the warm outdoor weather and celebrate the end of the summer holidays in style. 

The highest-grossing film of 1985 and a cultural phenomenon, film fans can expect to travel back in time as they follow the adventures of Marty McFly. Whether you’re attending with family or friends, it promises to be an entertaining evening for all as guests will enjoy the iconic sci-fi comedy projected onto a huge 20ft outdoor screen. 

There will be an option to purchase a premium ticket including a deck chair, but attendees are welcome to bring their own blankets and chairs, warmer layers are also advised for when the temperature drops. Food and drink will be available to purchase on the night but guests are also welcome to bring their own refreshments.

Situated in more than 400 acres, Alderley Park is home to a world leading science and tech campus, alongside a wide range of amenities including a gym, outdoor sports pitches, and scenic woodland with walking, running and cycling routes open to the public. 

The life science and tech campus is home to over 250 companies and delivered by Bruntwood SciTech, a joint venture between property company Bruntwood and Legal & General. It offers over 1m sq ft of lab and office space including Glasshouse, a 150,000 sq ft development providing a range of workspace for forward-thinking, innovative tech businesses including leading global tech corporates such as SAP. 

Cinema Under the Stars tickets are £12 per adult and £8 for concessions. Cinema tickets plus deckchair are £16. Doors open from 6.30pm for food and drink and the film will begin at 8:15pm. All tickets are plus booking fee. Parking is available on site and free of charge for the evening.
