Bruntwood SciTech announces new village pub and restaurant for Alderley Park
Cheshire Pub Company to take 6,000 sq ft of retail space for new village pub and restaurant at Alderley Park
Deal is a key milestone in the provision of retail and leisure amenities at Alderley Park
Bruntwood SciTech has announced Cheshire Pub Co, the group behind popular village pubs including The Ship Inn, Styal, and The Frozen Mop in Mobberley, is to open a new pub and restaurant - The Churchill Tree - at Alderley Park this autumn.
The deal sees Cheshire Pub Co take more than 6,000 sq ft within the grade II-listed Tenant’s Hall. The new village pub and restaurant will be surrounded by many of the Park’s scenic walking, running and cycling routes and will be a great new addition to the Park.
Dr Kath Mackay, managing director Bruntwood SciTech - Alderley Park, said: “Alderley Park is a fantastic place to live and work and we’re thrilled the Cheshire Pub Co has chosen the Park as the location for its next pub and restaurant. More than 200 life science and technology businesses already call Alderley Park home and The Churchill Tree will provide a great new amenity for all those who live, work and visit.”
A spokesperson for Cheshire Pub Co, added: “The setting at Alderley Park is beautiful and we feel very fortunate to be a part of the community. We look forward to providing a safe and happy place for local residents and businesses during these unusual times, and we can’t wait to open our doors and get to know our new customers.”
The Churchill Tree was designed by Bridge Architects and planning was managed by Avison Young.
