PJ Livesey has been granted planning consent for 57 new homes, being built as part of the redevelopment of the 400-acre Alderley Park in Cheshire.

The scheme will deliver 17 cottages, 17 mews properties, and 22 apartments in a glazed building next to the Water Garden.

The homes are part of a redevelopment of the historic quarter that will see a farm shop, gastro pub and leisure facilities.

The Park will also have extensive new sports facilities, including cricket and football pitches along with cycle routes and trim trails being opened up to the local community for the first time.

PJ Livesey director James Woodmansee said: “We have worked closely with the developer Bruntwood and Cheshire East Council to ensure that the development proposals are sensitive to the historic context, while staying true to the original vision for Alderley Park, by providing high quality and creativity designed houses and external spaces. We are excited to play a part in creating what we are confident will be one of the most desirable and unique places to live in the region.”

PJ Livesey was advised by HOW Planning and Slater Heelis Law, and worked with architects Fielden Clegg Bradley Studios and Brewster Bye.

Work on the project will begin immediately and Alderley Edge agents Gascoigne Halman have been appointed to support the PJ Livesey sales team on site.
