Luke Jerram’s ‘Gaia’
Measuring seven metres in diameter, Gaia features 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the Earth’s surface. The artwork provides the opportunity to see our planet on this scale, floating in three dimensions.
The installation aims to create a sense of the Overview Effect.
Yoga under the Earth

Experience Tech Made Simple with ‘Who wants to be a superhero’ and ‘Music to your ears’ interactive shows.
The team are regulars at the Green Man Festival, bluedot, Hong Kong Science Festival, Cheltenham Science Festival and Camp Bestival. Their mission is to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers and to engage the wider public with STEM. Suitable for KS2 +.
Treasure Hunt
Explore the wonder of Alderley Park as a team. Teams are given one hour to follow a map around the grounds, completing various challenges along the way.

Alderley Park is centrally located within easy reach of the M6 and M56 motorway network. It is located just 18 miles away from Manchester city centre and 20 minutes from Manchester Airport which offers flights to 225 destinations around the world. The Park offers easy access to Manchester and the rest of the UK by train with three local stations (Alderley Edge, Wilmslow and Macclesfield) all within 15 minutes drive.
To reach Glasshouse
When approaching the Park please head towards the South entrance (sign posted Alderley Park South). As you enter the site you will see the farmland to your left and residential homes to your right. Continue on this road for 45 seconds and you will soon see the new gym complex (Operated by Everybody Leisure) on your left with Glasshouse immediately in front of you. Please then follow the signposts towards the event parking.
