About the Inward Mission
Innovate UK is inviting ambitious UK organisations to participate in the Inward AMR (Antimicrobial Resistance) Innovation Mission to the UK. Along with carefully selected international businesses, the aim is to help the global curbing of AMR through collaboration and joint innovation resulting in new partnership and economic growth for UK organisations.
The Inward Mission will take place from 16 – 20 May 2022 at three key AMR hotspots of Oxford, Alderley Park and Edinburgh.
The programme offers a thematic approach, each with a keynote presentation from Thematic Champions:
• 16 May, Oxford: Prevention and Vaccination – Prof Calman MacLennan
• 18 May, Alderley Park: Antimicrobials – Prof Janet Hemingway
• 20 May, Edinburgh: Microbial Diagnostics – Prof Till Bachman
Each date will also consist of industry and funding presentations, tour of venue facilities and opportunity for 1:1 matchmaking meetings to develop new partnerships and leads both in the UK and internationally.
Innovate UK is committed to improving the diversity of who we support. As such, we welcome applications from under-represented groups.
