Now in its 2nd year, the Bionow Precision Medicine Conference, will focus on the impact which this exciting area has on patients and given the strengths in the North, will also examine precision medicine as a key tool in reducing the North / South economic differential.
Precision Medicine is an emerging approach for disease treatment and prevention that takes into account individual variability in genes, environment, and lifestyle for each person. This approach allows doctors and researchers to predict more accurately which treatment and prevention strategies for a particular disease will work best in specific groups of people. P4 Medicine will further revolutionise medicine and build upon the opportunity to deliver care which is Predictive, Preventive, Personalized and Participatory.
We are delighted that Professor Joanne Hackett, Chief Commercial Officer at Genomics England and Professor Anna Dominizak, Vice Principal at the University of Glasgow will be the Keynote Speakers at the event.
