Antibiotic resistant 'superbugs' are here and happening now - an estimated 12,000 people die in the UK each year alone. 700,000 people die globally each year and this figure is increasing. Antibiotics underpin modern medicine so without them cancer treatment, Cystic Fibrosis treatment, Sepsis treatment, surgeries, caesarian sections and many more medical interventions will falter. 

Normally £38 per entry, you can register via Antibiotic Research UK for £15. All they ask is that you aim to raise £200 in sponsorship for them and help fight the global cause.
